@kris wilkinson Listen you clearly are not from here and your news covers us inaccurately. Without photo ID it's hard to tell how many times people voted there was a woman arrested in New York for voting multiple times. Also everybody in my country has some sort of ID, so how you suppressing if you're asking for something that everybody has the only people that don't have ID or people that are not citizens and you have to be a citizen to vote. Now Republicans are not perfect but Democrats are far from that as well, all Democrats do is push race wars divide by pitting White against black, raising taxes, encouraging illegal immigrants to come to our country that's why we have a crisis in our southern border. Also they give privilege to lgbtq and all that bull shit. the Democrats are hypocrites calling Trump a Nazi and having concentration camps having children in cages now they're doing the same thing and nobody calls them out for it. Also the long lines, you could just request a ballot or vote early it's an option available to everybody. Anyway asking for something that everybody has is not suppressing them it's just to make sure that they're allowed to vote because you need to be in a citizen to vote. Trump and I approve this message well I’m not in america, and in my country, the UK, you don’t need ID to vote, I’ve voted many times and never needed ID You are also wrong when you say “to ask for identification to prevent fraud”. They don’t ask for identification to prevent fraud. What has happened here is they told you that they are asking for ID to prevent fraud, and you took them at their word without checking if that was true or not They ask for identification to make it harder for people who won’t vote Republican to vote, not to stop fraud. Stopping fraud is just what they tell you so you’ll go along with it Their objective is power - that is how human beings are. They want power, so they want to keep getting elected. Stopping people voting who won’t vote for them is a good way to keep power, as is gerrymandering districts, and not having enough polling stations in areas where people won’t vote for them I see your elections on tv every couple of years or so - Americans have to wait in line to vote, and they have to wait hours. That doesn’t happen in other rich countries, in my country you just rock up to the polling station, hand your card in and vote, no queuing for more than a minute or two.
